CLASS TRAINING

Training classes will not be starting for a while!

Keep checking back for new information.

WE ARE DOING ONE ON ONE TRAINING IN HOME!

ADBT is proud to announce our Class openings.  We are dedicated to bringing the best out of your best friend.   After community input we feel there is a strong need for quality classes to be offered.  The trainers at ADBT have brought a fresh look to the class setting in the fact that most classes do not emphasize focus in their curriculum.  Our theory is that everything should be taught with focus from  the beginning.  Our classes are limited to 5 handlers which brings more quality time for them to learn.  Another thing that ADBT is proud of is our continued involvement with the communities youth and we now are offering a Youth Class.

Youth Class: Ages 6 years +

This class is dedicated to youth handlers.  This is one of ADBT's favorite classes because so many children can use a great start to building relationships with their beloved dogs.  In this class we cover basic handling skills for youth, how to deal with their dog and behaviors their dog gives them.   Teach them how to be a pack leader and how to have fun and learn in a positive reward based system.  This class will teach the youth timing and when to give a reward to their dog.  We will also teach them how to approach dogs in a proper manner.

Puppy Class:

Recommended but not limited to puppies from the age of 8 to 16 weeks.  This is the very first step to having a best friend for years to come.  Young puppies learn behaviors everyday from their living environment.  Young puppies need to be properly socialized with people and other animals consistently to avoid future behavioral problems.  Here are just a few of the topics discussed in the puppy class:

-Imprinting pups name, eye contact,  sit, down, come, socialization and introduction to training.

Take advantage of your puppies eagerness to learn and enroll your pup today.

Basic Obedience Class: 6 months +

This class is designed for the dogs that have never had formal classes.   We begin with an introduction to training your dog with positive motivation.   Teach the use of markers and anti markers and when to properly time rewards.  How to read your dog and communicate with your dog.  How to be the pack leader with your dog, these are just some of the topics discussed in the Basic Obedience Class.

Here are a few of the commands your dog will learn:

Sit, Down, Come/Recall, Heel, Focus/ Watch, Leave it

  Sit

  Down

Come/Recall

Advanced Obedience Class: 1 year +

This class is geared towards dogs that have already had beginning obedience.  This class focuses on proofing dogs on leash to prepare them for off leash excersises.  We work more with the handler and their handling skills to produce a great dog & handler team.  After the completion of this class handlers will have gained the confidence needed to engage in the multitude of dog sports that are available.

Clicker Training:

This class is gaining popularity because the dog learns how to learn through classical conditioning.  The clicker class is the best class to teach a handler timing and when to give or with hold a reward.  In this class we will discuss classical and operant conditioning and how to apply them with dog behaviors.

Advanced Clicker:

This class is designed to take the clicker training to a new level.  This class helps you to get the most out of operant conditioning.  In this class we will work dogs under multiple distractions.  We will work the dogs primarily focusing on what each dogs weakest behavior is and how to produce the most balanced dog.

Take advantage of your dogs willingness to learn and enroll your dog today.
