Sire: Axel was produced by combining some of the best police service dog lines available. His sire is the great (CJ) Cejlon z Hundorfu
SCHH3, DPO II, WPO, PSP-1, CERT. NARC., POLICE SERVICE DOG until almost 11 years of age. He also represented
the United States in the 1999 BSP Police Dog Championship in Germany. CJ had just a few breedings as his owner was really
involved in police work and training rather than breeding.
In the few breedings, CJ proved his
great reproducing ability. To give a great example, Axel has three littermates working as police k9's. Some of these were
on duty by 14 months of age. Getting three littermates in service work is almost unheard of but at that age it is really a
remarkable accomplishment. To our knowledge Axel is the only CJ son that is titled to SchH3. Another CJ son is being used
extensively by Leerburg Kennels for the production of service dogs, top sport competitors and family pets. CJ's sire is Eron Mat-Roz who is a well know producer of working dogs in the Czech Republic. Eron is also the littermate
to Erika Mat-Roz who was the 1997 FCI Schutzhund World Champion.
Axel is also a grandson to U.S. Border Patrol K9 Otis vom Jacobiner Schloß. Otis was used as a stud dog at Leerburg kennels after
he retired as a service dog. Otis is also a littermate to G Olive vom Jacobiner Schloß who competed 5 x times in the Bundessieger,
an amazing accomplishment especially for a bitch.
Dam: Isis is from Leerburg kennels breeding program. Her pedigree shows 4 generations of Leerburg dogs. Isis is a proven producer of
German Shepherds that can do it all. She has progeny in working homes and pet homes. Isis is linebred 4-3 on the great Mink
vom Haus Wittfeld. Mink is known as one of the great modern day producers. He was known to producing "REAL" dogs that will
really fight a man. Many of today lines just like to play a game. Mink was also known for his super hip production. On top
of all that, Mink was also a great Schutzhund competitor competing twice in the Bundessieger.
Isis is also the grand daughter of two great dogs; 2 x Bundessieger participant V Kim vom Lisdorferland and U.S. Border Patrol
K9 Otis vom Jacobiner Schloß.
This litter is linebred on some of
these great dogs. 3-3 on U.S. Border Patrol K9 Otis vom Jacobiner Schloß and 4-5,4 on SG Mink vom Haus Wittfeld. We expect this breeding to produce dogs with temperaments that are sound. Dogs that are balanced
in their drives for both sport work and real protection work. If you have always wanted a Leerburg puppy but could not afford
